Set in a beautifully unique barn, surrounded by 270 acres of regenerative farmland, apple orchards, rolling hills, and a sparkling festoon lit yard, West Town Farm is a wonderfully unique, memorable and magical wedding venue.
We offer a bespoke and flexible wedding package that supports making your dream a reality. We take great pride in ensuring every wedding is calm, creative and ultimately a day to remember.
At a Glance
A stunning open-sided barn, a flower-filled farmyard, far-reaching countryside views and exclusive use of our camping and glamping sites, West Town Farm makes a magical venue for your wedding weekend.
Our wedding package includes exclusive farm hire for a three day weekend.
Friday - Access from 8am till 6pm to set up and decorate.
Saturday - Your big day with friends and family.
Sunday - Use of the cafe kitchen for a hearty breakfast before you say your farewells at 3pm, heading home as a newly married couple.
Whilst the farm is nestled in a peaceful valley, feeling far from anywhere, we're actually located just 3 miles from Exeter city centre making it easy for guests to arrive by bicycle, train or automobile.

Wedding Package Price - £5000 total (£1000 deposit to secure date)
Hire Includes:

Exclusive hire of the farm, including the use of our beautiful 18m x 11m open-sided barn, flower-filled farmyard and apple orchard.

Use of our function room featuring a wood-burning stove and events kitchen with serving hatch to the barn.

Fire baskets and hay bale seating in the farmyard, decorated with bunting and flowers.

Access to a walk-in chilller for storing food and drink.

Two nights accommodation in our unique Shepherds Hut, set in it’s own private garden with views over the orchard.

Two nights exclusive use of our Camping Field for guests, including two nights stay in our two fully-furnished Bell Tents.

Ample parking in the Camping Field, as well as limited accessible parking adjacent to the farm yard.

Two members of staff to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Food & Drink
We provide a recommended list of local suppliers, including a mobile bar which provides everything from local craft beers, natural wines to a sophisticated cocktail. Or if you’d prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own bespoke collection to suit your taste.
We have long-standing relationships with hog roasters and caterers offering a wide selection of nourishing and tasty food with glowing reviews. However if you have a favourite food truck or lip-smacking menu you know your friends and family will love, you are welcome to invite them for your special day.
Furniture & Venue Dressing
This has to be the most fun part, imagining how your wedding will look and feel on your very special day. Should you need assistance and ideas we work closely with Ritual Event Design. They do fabulous ceiling decorations which turns the barn into an intimate and colourful space that people love.
Keeping it local, we also suggest In Bloom for seasonal flowers, organically grown, just up the road. We can also recommend a furniture hire company and decor and accessories specialists. But as before, if you’d prefer to dress and decorate the space yourself, we fully support your creative vision.
Entertainment
Depending on the atmosphere you’re after, from a classical string quartet, a festival of live acts, or a drum and bass DJ set, we encourage you to create a night to remember, and we’ll be on hand to help make it happen.
There is ample space for a small stage in the barn or alternatively you might prefer a mixing desk and speakers. We have a list of recommended entertainers should you need any help, whilst not forgetting that simply chatting around the campfires, under a night sky can often be a favourite with guests. Either way, we look forward to hearing your ideas!
