Events, Glamping, Admin & Social Media Assistant on Regenerative Livestock Farm (temporary contract)

Updated: Apr 18

West Town is a forward looking farm with a passion for regenerative agriculture. Over the years we have diversified. We host weddings, private events, host open days and have glamping accommodation and we are looking to expand this part of the business, hence the need for a new person on the team. We have a shop selling our meat and other produce from local suppliers.

We are in a beautiful setting just outside Exeter and this isn’t your average place to work. If you’re looking for an interesting and varied role working with friendly colleagues this could be for you. Hours can be flexible to suit your life. There will be occasional weekend working for events. This could be a good job for someone who needs extra hours. As long as you’re keen we’ll be happy to hear from you. For the right person there could be scope to develop the role.

We are looking for someone dynamic who understands and loves what we do, is a cheerful all rounder, independent, willing to get stuck in and is good at multitasking. You’ll be physically fit, proficient with Google Drive/Microsoft Office or similar and enjoy posting on social media.

No day is the same on the farm and as part of a small team you will be expected to be adaptable and keen to get involved in whatever the job throws up. Ideally you will have some experience with events but as long as you are confident in speaking with people and welcoming them to the farm these skills will be considered. You’ll mainly be assisting our Meat Sales & Marketing Manager and there is scope to plan events, especially to do with food.
