Perfect for those who want to explore the heart of rural Devon, our eco-friendly off-grid campsite is a lusciously green, organic space, tucked amid the hedgerows of the Fordland Valley, open for a limited period throughout the summer season.
What to Expect
If you want somewhere with all-inclusive cabaret entertainment, gajillion Mbps Wifi and every home comfort imaginable, then we probably won't fit the bill... However, if you're looking for a stunning place to reconnect with nature and spend quality time with those you love, then our campsite may be perfect! We are based 4 miles outside of Exeter.
Pocketed within our 270 acres of organic land, our off-grid campsite is based in one of the farms most accessible fields, at the foot of a slope between Chillies Copse and the gentle path of Fordland Brook, ideal for kids wanting to build stick dens or dip their toes in the cool water of the stream.
Facilities
Designed and built here on the site, we're incredibly proud of our campsite facilities and take extra care to look after them and make sure they're clean. The site currently has two raised compost loos, an accessible compost loo, a shower cubicle and washing up station.
We do have a recycling point, although, as an eco-friendly campsite, we also encourage our guests to think about how much waste they're producing and to take rubbish home with them where they can.
There is also a small self-service shop up in the farm yard, filled with camping essentials, including milk, eggs, bread and plenty of our fantastic BBQ meats! More information on what we stock in our shop can be found here.

Whilst the campsite is perfectly located to help ensure you're never short of ways to spend your time during your stay at West Town Farm, we always recommend starting with exploring the local area.
Our farm trail can be picked up from the campsite and allows you to explore the farm and all its elements.
