A chill in the air

The farm has been taking advantage of the dry weather and leaving the cows in the fields for longer. Once the weather changes we will move them into the barns and give the pasture a chance to rejuvenate.
We’ve had a lot of educational visits this month, more than usual at this time of year, thanks to the warmer weather. They’ve been apple pressing and enjoying lots of walks around the farm.
On Bonfire Night we enjoyed the fantastic view we have over Exeter. It looked amazing, the sky alight for over an hour.
Now it’s December I can officially mention the C word. CHRISTMAS! We will be having a fresh meat week between 19th-23rd December, where you can get beef, lamb and pork cuts. Phone us on 01392 811257 to place an order, we can deliver local.
We will be running the BBQ at The Shillingford Organics traditional Christmas fayre on the 11th December between 12-6pm.
