Autumn at West Town Farm

Tuesday September 20th 2016

PumpkinsWith our last wedding of the summer under our belts, we welcome a change of season. The farm’s been bustling with activity, from pigs escaping (constantly) to harvesting autumnal treats to installing a new farm kitchen.

We have organic Crown Prince, Uchiki Kuri and pumpkins alongside ourmeat for sale in the farm shop. Pumpkins can be nature's very own baking tray, last week we cooked a fantastic chilli con carne inside one of them...delicious!

As the sun changes position in the sky and the shadows grow longer we start to prepare for
our Apple and Pumpkin Day. This year it’s held on the 23rd October opening 11am4pm.
We have tractor rides, pumpkin carving, apple pressing, Poco Drom performing his wild and wonderful songs about animals, a BBQ and cafe, and many more things for you to come and
 explore.

We look forward to seeing you at Apple and Pumpkin Day!
