As well as being a commercial farm West Town is happy to serve as a unique venue for any occasion; from class visits or business away days, to birthday parties and weddings.
In addition to providing the space we can also offer a range of services for your event, from pottery classes to catering.

Spaces
The farm can be booked in its entirety for large events requiring multiple spaces, such as weddings, but there are also a number of locations on the farm which can be booked separately to meet the individual needs of your event.
Our barn is a large covered area which we use during the year for our annual barn dance, wedding receptions and educational visits but it has also been known to hold celidhs, concerts and large scale away days. The barn can accommodate up to 250 people.
The stable room is a fully enclosed space, with adjacent kitchen, able to accomodate up to 20 people comfortably, depending on arrangement. The room can be booked for smaller meetings and is also a good space for informal gatherings.
The farm's on site workshop is available for artistic sessions, containing work tables and a kiln.
For those wishing to stay on the farm accommodation is available in the form of a Shepherd's Hut. The hut contains a bed, table and wood burner with enough space to accommodate two people and has a lovely view over one of the farm's orchards. A compost loo and shower are adjacent to the hut. The Shepherd's Hut is the perfect base for walking, visiting the local area or having a romantic country weekend and is available between March and October. Should you wish to stay near the farm, rather than on it, The Poachers Inn & Drakes Farm House provide comfortable alternatives.
There are two fields available for use at the farm, the Paddock and Easterbrooks. Easterbrooks has two on site compost loos and a fire area, power can also be provided. The space can be used for tents, marquees, football matches, car boot sales, most outdoor events! The fields can also be used to provide additional car parking space in good weather.
For any and all events there is parking available and toilet facilities on site. The farm yard and some buildings are wheelchair accessible but if you would like wheelchair access to the whole farm please give us advanced notice as we need to make sure the pony chariot is available.
Services
We can provide catering for all events held at the farm, from tea for a small meeting to a wedding reception of several hundred. All the food is locally sourced, with any meat coming from the farm itself and other ingredients coming from neighboring farms or suppliers in the area. A menu and price list is available on request.
